The SMART Women Project is a unique and vital project for the Cornish Economy and exists to address the under-representation of women working at a senior level and in management roles.
The SMART Women Project not only offers the opportunity to gain a high level management qualification, but each learner undertakes a bespoke self development course, addressing the barriers for women in business and improving confidence and communication skills. We have received excellent feedback to date. Learners have an environment and immediate group of people to work and share ideas with – a vital tool for any woman in business.
Over 200 enthusiastic SMART Women have taken part in this pioneering programme over the past eighteen months. The value of this training has been high and there were limited spaces. All of the women were motivated, dedicated to self development and of course, wished to increase their management skills.
The Project is no longer accepting applications and is waiting for a decision regarding future funding for Phase II of SMART Women - fingers crossed! In the meantime, please do contact us if you are interested in future SMART Women programmes and we will add you to our mailing list.
